Research question - Arbitrum's decentralization

Hi everyone,

While working on my research into Arbitrum’s decentralization, I noticed that L2BEAT still lists Arbitrum One as relying on a centralized sequencer. It made me curious about where things stand today and where they’re heading.

Is sequencer decentralization actively on the roadmap, or is it more of a long-term goal at this point? I’m also trying to understand how Timeboost fits into the picture. Does it change anything about the trust assumptions around the sequencer, or is it mainly about how transaction ordering is priced?

I’d really appreciate hearing your perspectives, or being pointed to any relevant discussions or proposals. Thanks so much!
